A sample email to show appreciation

 
It depends on the circumestances, but generally it is best if you send an appreciation email on the same day the person has done something for you. (or at least within two or three days). If it takes longer, adding an apology to the thank you mail would be better (e.g. sorry for the delay in writing you, but I just wanted to thank you for xyz... etc...).

(In Japanese, it's common to say, we know you are busy, so thank you for abc and xyz....)
"We know how busy you are, and so we wanted to thank you for taking the time to come to our company's seminar. Because of your attendance, the seminar has turned out to become a great success. 

(To leave a good impression, it's common to mention, you're company will continue to strive to do an excellent job.)
Our entire company will continue to strive to do our best and improve where needed so we can continue to satisfy our clients.
