How to use - Saseteitadaku (させていただく）
"Saseteitadaku" （させていただく） is a verb that can be swapped with the verb します (Do verb). It is used often so the speaker can portray himself in a modest fashion (謙譲語). In English, I would say させていただく can be roughly translated into "please Allow Me or Please Let Me."
Format difference between English and Japanese
English : "allow me" + phrase
Japanese: phrase + させていただく
Below are a few examples:
* Note させていただく has been changed to させていただきます because I'm using the
present form and not the dictionary form.

必要に応じて説明をさせていただきます。 = Allow me to explain when it's necessary.
迅速に対応をさせていただきます。 = Let me look into this ASAP.
出席させていただきます。 = Let me attend (the meeting).

Depending on the situation, させていただく can seem too pushy and obtrusive
if used incorrectly. The speaker's intent may have been to be modest and polite,
but it can actually have the opposite effect.
This is because させていただきます means it is indirectly implying you are getting
consent from the listener, just like English "allow/let me."
For example, if the listener is not expecting you to attend a meeting,
but you say 「出席させていただきます。」 it's as if you're saying, [I don't
care what your opinion is, I will attend the meeting!]
If you are unclear if the listener will give you consent, it would be
better to ask, "if you don't mind, may I attend the meeting?"
